Vegan Mac & “Cheese”

Creamy pasta bake without dairy or nuts (nut‑free option).

Ingredients

  • 300g macaroni (GF if needed)
  • 2 tbsp DF butter
  • 2 tbsp GF flour
  • 500ml oat/soy milk
  • 3 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 150g DF cheese
  • 1 tsp mustard

Method

  1. Cook pasta until al dente.
  2. Make white sauce: melt DF butter, stir in flour, whisk in milk.
  3. Add nutritional yeast, mustard, DF cheese.
  4. Mix with pasta, bake 20 min at 180°C.

Tips

  • Add broccoli or peas for veg boost.
  • Nut‑free if you avoid cashew sauces.
